Maori

Today we did Maori. We had to find out on Maori dictionary which photo belonged to each Maori word.I finished mine and got them all right.

Anzac day brochure

 

Po'oi and I made a brochure about a badge that mothers who had let their sons fight in the army wore.

It was silver and on it said Mothers of Empire. Mothers wore this badge with pride. We got to choose an item. I chose the Mothers of Empire badge.

Opera

on Thursday NZ opera came and performed for us it was a love story, there was a count and a girl a barber a lawyer a evil step mum and a police officer who was my teacher. my favourite part was when the count bashed his head on a door. 

Animal Poster

I made a animal poster about a jaguar. Did you know that jaguars jaws are so powerful they can bite through a skull? Did you know that jaguars are the third biggest cat in the world? Every reading group had to choose and research their animal by using books and the internet. It was really fun.

Poem.

On Monday I finished my poem it's about a black plastic spider and it's only words that describe the spider, and when everyone has finished the poems are going to another school in New Zealand, it was really fun.

Ash Wednesday

On Ash Wednesday we went to church in the morning and got the cross on our heads. It was really cool everyone said that mine was the best.

Shove Tuesday

today we made pancakes with the juniors for shove Tuesday and we burnt palm leaves so for tomorrow they can put the cross on us and for the time of lent.
